"Lay Lay's Little Little" is the nineteenth episode in Season 2 of That Girl Lay Lay and thirty-second overall. It premiered on March 23, 2023. It received 0.13 million viewers.

Plot

Summary

Sadie and Lay Lay are assigned a shared Little Buddy, Milaena, and spend the week attempting to create a mini-Sadie and mini-Lay Lay, or Say Lay, instead of learning about what Milaena likes and what makes her unique.

Main Plot

Trish walks in as Lay Lay and Sadie are getting ready for school. Sadie tells Trish that it is "Big Buddy, Small Buddy" week at school and that she enjoyed the program as a child. Trish then mentions how Sadie created a mustache on her face and kept saying she "spoke for the trees." Trish then tells Lay Lay how she misses her rough years. Lay Lay then tells Sadie she could go to school listening to Sadie or Beyonce, but now she prefers the funkadelic sound of '70s disco. Trish asks Lay Lay whether she'll be a big buddy, and Lay Lay says she has no idea what it is.

The following day at school, Lay Lay wants to sign up for "Big Buddy Little Buddies," but Sadie suggests to Ms. Calloway an idea for Lay Lay to share her little buddy. Lay Lay has an idea for the buddy named "Say Lay."

Later that evening, Ms Calloway announces that Sadie and Lay Lay have been paired up with Milaena, and Sadie shakes Milaena's hand aggresively.

Back at the house, Sadie gives Milaena a presentation of ideas that Milaena dislikes, but Lay Lay freezes time and Lay Lay does not like the idea either, so she delivers her own thoughts of ideas instead.

Milaena walks out of the changing room wearing multiple outfits to try on. Milaena believes the outfits are too extra for herself. Milaena wants to leave and does not want Sadie and Lay Lay as big buddies as she does not want to do fashion and science.

Sadie and Lay Lay believe their presentation was perfect. Lay Lay was wondering if she'd asked Milaena what she liked. Sadie has no idea what Milaena likes, and Sadie and Lay believe they are bad friends since they have never listened to what Milaena wants. Lay Lay is determined to make things right.

The next day, at BoomBox Burger, Lay Lay and Sadie decide to apologize to Milaena for not listening to her ideas. When Lay Lay starts asking questions about Milaena's interests, she responds that she enjoys playing music. Milaena says she is bullied because she plays the harp, and Sadie wants her to perform in a musical performance.

Milaena is nervous about performing in front of a huge crowd. Lay Lay begins her musical performance while Milaena plays the harp and Sadie serves as the DJ, and everyone applauds for them.

Subplot

Marky and Scoot are eating chili dogs when Scoot burps, and Marky tells Scoot to stop putting jelly on his chili dogs. Marky and Scoot hear a creaking noise. Trish and Bryce walk into the home, and Scoot believes their house is haunted because of the creaking noise, but Trish thinks it's the tree branches scraping against the house. Marky wants to search the house to make sure there are no ghosts and to find out where the noise is coming from.

Later that evening, Marky is watching TV as Scoot scares him, and they both hear the creaking sounds again. Scoot believes he is surrounded by ghosts. Trish and Bryce walk downstairs, with Bryce carrying a doll. Bryce throws his doll to Marky, and Scoot wants to put the doll back in the attic tomorrow, but Trish wants to keep the doll.

Tomorrow evening, Marky and Scoot head into the attic to return the doll. Scoot turns on his mini vacuum, and Marky starts screaming. The door smashes, with Marky and Scoot both screaming, and they both believe they have been trapped in the attic by pulling on the door.

Marky and Scoot are still pulling the door to get it open when the door is open. Marky and Scoot both scream. Trish and Bryce come in the attic. Trish asks Marky and Scoot what's going on. Marky and Scoot think the house is haunted and the door shut by itself, but Trish tells them that the hinges are just worn off, and Bryce tells them it's a push, not a pull. Then there's a rustling noise, then a music box falls, and they all start screaming. The music box starts playing while they are walking by it, then they start screaming again. Because of a possum living in their attic, the possum starts climbing through the window.
