Season 2 of That Girl Lay Lay was officially confirmed by Nickelodeon on January 28, 2022.^[1] It serves as the second and final season of the series. Production started on April 18, 2022. The season premiered on July 14, 2022.

Synopsis

Season 2 of That Girl Lay Lay will bring more music and magical powers as the two best friends continue to go on even more exciting adventures, working to fulfill Lay Lay’s desire to experience everything that comes with being a real teenager.

Jeremy doesn’t make an appearance this season due to being written out of the show and replaced by Cobo.
The first third of Season 2 was added to Netflix on February 23, 2023, coincidentally the same day "Sorori-Tay-Tay" premiered.
This is the first season to have over 13 episodes.
On September 26, 2023, during an Instragram Live, director Wendy Faraone confirmed that this season would consist of 40 episodes while also confirming that the second season had 6 episodes left to film.
