Sadie pulls out her phone, and Illana tells her that she can see changes in real time. Ilana has some ideas for making the avatars more anime-style. This made Layla's eyes come out too big. She claims she looks like an owl that's seen a ghost. Ilana also built bunny mode for her VR headset, which also causes Lay's Head to have bunny ears. Ilana returns to normalcy. Ilana claims that her father's negativity inspires her and that negativity is a far more effective motivator than positivity. Lay Lay returns in a rock outfit, and Lay Lay begins kicking down the laundry hamper as a result of Ilana's latest update, which transformed the positive affirmation app into the negative affirmation app.

Later that day at East Packer High with Trish and Bryce, Trish compliments Sadie's and Lay Lay's science project and shows her confidence in them.
